Honda Ensigns New Version of City at Rs 7.42 Lakh

In the wake of tasting triumph with their section into the diesel auto space with the 'Amaze', Japanese auto creator Honda started a diesel variant of their leader "City" display in India.

However, the company likewise presented an all-new form (petrol) of the auto with costs beginning from Rs 7.42 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).  The diesel rendition costs will begin from Rs 8.62 lakh to  to Rs 11.1 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), the organization said in an articulation on Tuesday.

More naively, unlike other major automobile giants, Honda has been enlisting high development in deals driven basically by their Brio Hatchback and Amaze.

The organization sold 5,493 units in the local market in the month of December 2013 as against 4,242 units sold throughout December 2012, enrolling a deals development of 30 for every penny.

“With the best of both petrol and diesel technologies available in Honda City, we are very confident about the success of the model, which will significantly contribute to our business growth in India,” Hironori Kanayama, President and Chief Executive Officer of the auto major reportedly said.

Meanwhile, the company sold what added up to 73,000 units in FY13 and is intending to offer 1.2 lakh autos in the present monetary (FY14).

Notwithstanding, the company had launched the original Honda City in India in 1998 and has so far sold 4.3 lakh units of the car.
